Making poached eggs is one of the fastest and easiest ways to make eggs for breakfast.

Who needs frustration when making breakfast? No one does!

Easy, No-Fuss Poached Eggs

Making poached eggs is one of the fastest and easiest ways to make eggs for breakfast.

Let's make poached eggs for breakfast the quick and easy way. There is no need for you to complicate this very easy breakfast,

The Steps for Making Poached Eggs

1. Add about two inches of water to a pot. In the video below I used a two-quart pot. Bring the water to a simmer over medium-high heat.

2. Turn the heat down to medium when you see bubbles forming around the outside of the pot. Carefully break two eggs into the simmering water.

3. Set a timer for three minutes.  Let the eggs gently cook in the simmering water.  Keep an eye on the pan to make sure the simmer doesn't turn into a full boil.

4. While the eggs are cooking, toast your bread or English muffin.  Gather a slotted spoon and a paper towel. You'll use the slotted spoon to remove the eggs from the pan and will blot excess water from the eggs with a paper towel.

5. After three minutes, remove the eggs from the pan, blot with a paper towel, and place your eggs on buttered toast. Sprinkle your eggs with salt and pepper.

Enjoy your easy, no-fuss poached eggs breakfast!
