Another reason to make this shrimp dish for dinner is that it is quick to prepare.  Special dinners don't have to be time-consuming to prepare. You'll have dinner on the table in thirty minutes or less.  You can't beat that!

Low Carb Shrimp Pesto Alfredo
You can make your own fresh basil pesto or use your favorite prepared pesto.  I usually use my own prepared pesto that I keep frozen in cubes in my freezer.  For this dish, I can just pop the frozen cubes right into the sauce to gently melt into the sauce.  It's so easy and delicious.

When using spiralized vegetables for this dish, just add the veggies to the sauce with the shrimp and let them cook together.  If you choose to serve you Shrimp Pesto Alfredo over pasta, time the cooking of your pasta so that it will be ready when the shrimp is cooked in the Alfredo sauce.
