It is time.
Time for what, you ask?
Love, I tell you, L-O-V-E. They are not inexpensive, friends, but using these special cocktail glasses makes your drinks just that much more delectable. These are $20 each, so you probably won't want enough on hand for a cocktail party, but having two makes sharing a cocktail with your honey a little more...
Now, back to preparing the glasses. I really like sugared rims on my cocktails. I know, it's very girly of me, but what can I say? I like it, OK? So, let's take some turbinado sugar (you can get it in the grocery store) and mix a bit with one teaspoon (more or less) of grated orange zest on a flat plate.
Take a wedge of a lime and run it around the edge of your glass. Your really want to get some juice on there to make the sugar mixture stick. Then roll the edge of your glass in the sugar mixture. Set the glass aside while you mix your drink. You can prepare glasses early in the day, if you are thinking ahead.
Now let's move on to making this yummy Pineapple Martini.
Strain the drink into the chilled glass. Skewer the pineapple and cherry and drop them into the cocktail. Don't forget your pretty cocktail napkins. Cheers.
This cocktail is easy to make and delicious to drink. Go ahead, try it!
