This is the time of year to take inventory of your kitchen tools as you prepare for your holiday baking.  Having the right tools on hand makes baking easier and less frustrating when you have a lot to do.

Some of these would make nice gifts or stocking stuffers for the bakers on your list, too.

Holiday Baking

I’ve made it easier for you to think through what you might need by assembling a list of highly-rated kitchen tools essential for your holiday baking. Use these affiliate links and you’ll be baking holiday treats in a few short days.

#1 Batter Bowls

Batter bowls make baking a breeze with their deep bowls, essential handles, and easy clean-up. Having multiple bowls means you can have several cookie doughs in process at the same time.  This nesting set of ceramic batter bowls is useful and pretty.  I love a clear batter bowl so I can see right down to the bottom of the bowl.

#2 Marble Pastry Boards

Making pies and delicate pastry sweets can get frustrating when rolling out the dough.  A marble pastry board like this 20 x 16-inch board will reduce your frustration by keeping your surface cool.

As a bonus, use your marble board as the base for a dazzling holiday charcuterie board.

#3 Sheet Pans

Can you have too many sheet pans?  Not if they are good ones.  Sheet pans are essential for holiday baking and lots more. Don't skimp on thin, weak pans.  You'll just be sorry.  A good quality set of sheet pans will last you for years and years.

I love sturdy cotton dishtowels because they are the workhorses in my kitchen.  These 100% cotton dish towels are large, come in a package of six, and have a multitude of colors you can choose from.

While you're at it, you might want to order this baker's dozen set of flour sack kitchen towels.  Talk about workhorses, these towels are the best!

#7 Measuring Cups and Spoons

Measuring cups and spoons always seem to disappear or end up misshapen in the drawer.  Are your's looking sad? This set of eight, 18/8 stainless steel measuring cups is sturdy enough to last you for many years.

#8 Aprons

I don’t often wear an apron when cooking but holiday baking tends to get messy at my house. This is the time of year to wear a holiday-themed apron to get you in the spirit. These holiday-themed aprons will bring some holiday fun to your kitchen.

Moms and their kids can have fun baking and decorating cookies in these holiday-themed apron sets.

#9 Spatulas and Stirrers

Spatulas and Silicone Stirrers also seem to be in short supply during holiday baking. If you find yourself constantly needing to wash your spatulas while baking, you'll want to get more.

#10 Cake Pans

When was the last time you replaced your cake pans? If it is time, try these sturdy, 9-inch aluminum pans.  Don't forget to replace that old, leaky springform pan with this new, reliable one.

Take a few minutes to inventory your baking essentials today.
You'll be glad you did.
