Morning Coffee Magic: Tips to Pamper and Energize

Hi there, coffee lovers! Let's talk about coffee as an essential part of your morning routine and a special savings opportunity for YOU.

If you're like me, you love coffee and want it fast, easy, and delicious. That’s especially true in the morning when I’m barely awake. Even though I want my coffee quick I take a little time to pamper myself a bit with my morning coffee ritual.

A Morning Coffee Ritual

Three cups of coffee

After much trial and error, I’ve become a fan of coffee pods. I’ve used coffee pods off and on over the years, giving them up time and again because I couldn’t find pods with enough flavor for me. Coffee made from grounds in a drip machine always seems to taste better.

The problem is, I'm impatient and not fond of waiting for my morning coffee to brew. So, I kept buying coffee pod brewers and a variety of coffee pods until finally, I am able to make a quick morning coffee I like.

Now I get flavorful coffee quickly with my Keurig 2.0 brewer. My preferred cup of coffee is 12 ounces of steaming hot goodness. The pampering comes from the splash of heavy cream I froth (with this frother) into a cloud of goodness on top of the coffee. The final touch is a generous sprinkling of cinnamon on top. Taking the time to add some froth and a sprinkle of cinnamon is my reminder to take care of myself.

Why consider adding cinnamon to your coffee?

Besides smelling and tasting wonderful, adding cinnamon to your coffee can have several health benefits.

Cinnamon is rich in antioxidants, which help protect your body against damage from harmful free radicals. It may also have anti-inflammatory properties, which can reduce inflammation in the body.

Cinnamon has been associated with improved blood sugar control, as it may help lower blood sugar levels and improve insulin sensitivity. This can be particularly beneficial for individuals with diabetes or those at risk of developing it.

Cinnamon may aid in digestion by reducing bloating, gas, and indigestion. It has also been suggested to have antimicrobial properties, potentially helping to fight bacteria and fungi.

Cinnamon adds flavor without adding calories or sugar, making it a healthier alternative to artificial sweeteners or flavored syrups.

When using a frother you'll find skim milk makes a thick foamy froth to add to your coffee.  I like to use heavy cream for its rich flavor.   Customizing your coffee is essential for a morning pampering routine.

Why is this morning routine important?

When you take the time for a little self-care each morning you are telling yourself you are worthy.  This coffee ritual can help your center yourself and energize you as you prepare for whatever the day has in store for you.  I've come to cherish this routine to start my day.
