That's what I do when I plan to serve them any more than a couple of days out. I have some in my freezer right now.Donna Ursohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16054716348992925559noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7947853767295365120.post-12182455574683145042022-12-18T05:00:27.704-05:002022-12-18T05:00:27.704-05:00I am so excited to try this recipe. The recipe specifically states that you may not use all of the milk. The amount of milk fluctuates greatly depending on humidity, and the amount of moisture already in the butter you use. When you watch the video I show you the consistency you want in the frosting to know how much milk you need. Salt is also a very personal component of recipes. I prefer the recipe as written but I encourage customization of my recipes to suit you tastes.Donna Ursohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16054716348992925559noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7947853767295365120.post-78708719278087253992022-11-11T00:59:42.999-05:002022-11-11T00:59:42.999-05:00Thanks for this recipe! I believe the milk in the frosting should be decreased from 1/3 to 1/4 cup, especially if people are going to be adding liquid/ gel coloring. My frosting ended up being too thin. I'd also suggest adding about 1/2 tsp salt to the frosting. The original Cheryl's cookies taste much saltier.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
